Bill Richter is President & CEO of Qumulo, where he brings over 20 years of leadership experience to his role. Prior to Qumulo, Bill was a Venture Partner at Madrona, where he invested in and advised emerging businesses across multiple categories. Before joining Madrona, Bill was President of the Isilon Storage Division of EMC, where he grew the business to $1.5 billion in annual revenue in 2014. After Isilon, Bill served as COO of EMC’s $4 billion Midrange Storage business. Bill holds a BA in Business Administration from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.

Ben Gitenstein, VP of Product Management at Qumulo


Ben Gitenstein runs Product at Qumulo. He and his team of product managers and data scientists have conducted nearly 1,000 interviews with storage users and analyzed millions of data points to understand customer needs and the direction of the storage market. Prior to working at Qumulo, Ben spent five years at Microsoft, where he split his time between Corporate Strategy and Product Planning.

Joseph Yang, General Manager, Storage Sales Asia Pacific at HPE


Joseph currently leads the Storage business at Hewlett Packard En-terprise across Asia Pacific. He is focused on driving Hybrid IT solu-tions across the storage portfolio including hyper convergence. With the recent acquisitions of SimpliVity and Nimble, Joseph’s sales and presales teams are leading the transition to All Flash Data Centers.

Prior to HPE, Joseph was CTO and Director of Professional and Managed Services at Microware Limited in Hong Kong, one of the largest IT resellers in the Hong Kong market and a close HPE part-ner. During his time at Microware he helped the company achieve many “industry firsts” in the Hong Kong market including driving the adoption of virtualization and data center automation as well as Cloud managed services.

Joseph has over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry both at the helm of Microware in Hong Kong as well as in the US market; having worked directly with Fortune 500 customers developing B2B sales enablement and e-commerce solutions at an industry leading vendor.
